How chat works
House rules
Chat's relaxed on purpose — the whole bit is a room full of people watching a guy lose to himself, not a courtroom. A few rules keep it that way. Warm everywhere, except hate, where there's no warmth and no warning.
In chat
Chat's pretty relaxed, but a few things keep it that way. No spoilers for the current season and no backseating unless I ask. No self-promo or links.
Reps and rulings are my call — if you catch me being wrong, say it fast, I'll usually agree, and then it's settled (no relitigating it for an hour). Don't chant for more weight once I've capped out, and don't ask me to load past the ladder — that's how people get hurt, and the whole point is that I don't.
Bigotry, harassment, and threats are an instant ban, no warning. Everything else is a nudge first. Be kind to the mods.
Two of those lean on the same fact: the cap and the ladder aren't up for negotiation. They're the rules of the bit and the ceiling that keeps me in one piece — chanting doesn't move physics.
The whole contract, if you just got here
- welcome. quick contract before you say anything:
- the weight is real and the cap is real. when i hit the cap, i stop. chanting does not move physics.
- don't tell me to go heavier than the ladder. i'm attached to my elbows.
- reps and rulings are my call. caught me wrong? say it once, fast — i'll probably side with you against me, and then it's over.
- no spoilers for whatever season we're in.
- no backseating unless i ask. i'll ask. i'll be wrong regardless.
- no self-promo, no links, no drama.
- bigotry or harassment = gone, no warning.
- be cool to the mods. they are unpaid and babysitting a man doing pullups for strangers.
- that's the whole thing. make yourself at home.

Same deal off-stream: same standard, same enforcement, same instant ban on hate. Put things in the right channel and tag spoilers for the current season. The full house rules live in the server — the door's in the links.
